In 2023, South African rapper Stogie T travels to the island of Réunion to collaborate with Réunionese producer Aleksand Saya. Joining the project is South African singer Bonj, whose captivating voice brings a soulful, melodic color to the tracks. From this meeting emerges a collaborative EP—a true fusion of musical worlds from the Indian Ocean—blending the rhythms of Réunion’s maloya with the vibrant energy of Afro-soul and South African hip-hop.
