Queen Omega returns in 2025, carried by the global success of her dubplate “No Love Dubplate.” The track, created with Little Lion Sound, has surpassed 120 million streams and was praised by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
In 2023, she released the album “Freedom Legacy,” marked by powerful and introspective lyrics. The project explores themes of freedom, legacy, the human condition, and women’s empowerment.
Originally from San Fernando, she began her career in childhood through local talent shows and wrote her first calypsos at a young age. She grew up in a family of musicians, influenced by reggae, dancehall, soul, jazz, and the traditional music of Trinidad. Her international career started in the early 2000s in Jamaica and later continued in London.
A major female figure in roots reggae, she has built a rich discography since 2001 with numerous collaborations. She has performed at many of the world’s biggest festivals, captivating audiences with her voice, energy, and stage presence.
